Account Buying Help

HI i am looking to buy an account. My question is what steps should i take to make sure that the account i buy cannot be recovered and i cannot get scammed

 

Only buy from Mods/OMM/HIGHLY trusted peoples. Otherwise the account will be recovered and even then, trusted people still recover too..

Best method is just to bot your own account

edit: There is also no method of securing an account for yourself, it can ALWAYS be recovered

personally if i was gonna buy an account i'd only buy from really trusted members, i wouldnt dare buy an account from new members.. its just a scam waiting to happen.

 

An account can always be recovered by the original owner. You just have to make sure you buy from a trusted member of the sythe community, it is the only way to ensure your safety.

 

Correct me if i'm wrong, but i think the original owner can ALWAYS recover the account. So as the other people were saying always buy from trusted members or risk being scammed.

 

Accounts can always be recovered by the original owner even though you know all of the information about the account. Personally I only buy accounts through Playerauctions even the accounts are more expensive they sell a protective plan for the account for like $6 for a year and in that time if the account ever gets recovered you can just file a report and they will refund your money. (Not trying to advertise PA just helping the dude out) But if you want to buy off Sythe buy from ONLY really trusted people with a lot of vouches or a old member. Hope this helped

 

It's been stated before, but it needs to be emphasized that account sales are extremely risky and if you're looking to buy an account, you need to have extremely high standards in the people you choose to buy from. Not just 20+ vouches, try 100+.

The reason owners can recover their accounts so easily is because the people they sell to have very different IP addresses from themselves. When they submit appeals to jagex, jagex recognizes their IP and gives it to them. You can use a VPN/proxy though to pretend that you live where the owner does, so it's harder for him to recover it and it's not as obvious that you're not the owner, but at the end of the day, he's gonna win any recovery war you get into
