Possible New Scam Meathod

With Runescape making Tattoos and Horns more common and making them worth 100m each; this opens up a possibility to a new scam.

Players with a few or even one Tattoo could say "Selling account 100m+ worth items" and in the picture of items just post a few good items and a few stacked up items while being skulled so it shows you lose it all. When in reality the items are only worth a few mill but the Tattoo or Horns are worth more.
You can't sell, high alch, or drop these items.

Watch out for this when buying accounts or when buying gold.

 

This isn't a new thing really, nor is it a major concern. I see where you're coming from though.

Just fyi, the little legs from SW are the same way.

 

With a community of people constantly getting scammed and the "report a scammer" section constantly being used, someone, somewhere will use this scam.

Yeah they are untradble but when you price check it, It's worth 100M...
Sad and Yeah, this can really be used as scam and hopefully none will fall for that shit.

 

I can see new people here, or new people to the game falling for this.

 

Only an idiot would fall for getting lured in Clan Wars, but day after day people keep getting scammed.

You have to remember not everyone thinks like you out there. One mans knowledge is another mans downfall.

Same as the clothes you get from soul wars, they are worth hundreds of mils as well. No one will fool for this as everyone knows most items over 100m...

 

Only way to scam with this would be selling an account that owns them. As soon as someone tries that here a dozen people would spam the thread and the OP would be banned

Yeah, its not like there is an abundance of those on runescape or anything ...
I got 3 tattoos from the wheel so far ... my only "rares" look like fucking avatar last airbender bullshit . Hope no one gets scammed this way.. but hey this is sythe im sure someone read the thread and is going to try and put scam into use ASAP.

 

Anyone who trys this is a complete idiot.
