Infractions....Again

Hi...so I just came back from a 3-4 day ban (the reason due to infractions). 24 or something hours later, I try to sign in and it says that im banned A G A I N for the same reason. Pretty much the only the thing I can remember was posting after the previous ban was saying "bump" on my thread and some helpful suggestions in the Runescape section so idk what is going on...I mean is there a mod out there that really wants me banned?

This is pretty frustrating, and if a mod can see to it, I would appreciate someone going back and reviewing the infractions ive received and hopefully some can get overturned.

The infraction issued today was added on to all the infractions you have accumulated recently, and so you were instantly temporarily banned again. The post you were infracted for is a couple of weeks old, so I will check with n4n0 and see what he thinks about this.

Your patience in the mean time is appreciated.

 

I would assume you did should be banned if its infraction accrual. Now that you will have to take up with the person who infracted you which I do not know at the moment.

 

Thanks Zeker and Djweasel (although weasel, I'm not too sure about what you said). I just thought the whole point of being banned due to infractions was to learn/read the stickies so it wont happen again, which believe me, I have done during the 3 days I was temporarily banned. So being banned again as soon as I was unbanned for a post I made 2 months ago, I just feel isn't fair/just.

My post was done on my iPhone and when I submitted it. It was after another mod had posted.

What I said was if its infractions wait it out or talk to who gave them to you. Because that's the best way to fix things.
I also say reduce his temp to a 3 day-7 day and call it even.

 

The post you were infracted for was actually made just over 2 weeks ago, not 2 months.

Personally, I believe that you have served an adequate punishment for all your accumulated infractions, and I don't think it's entirely fair that upon your return you have been infracted for an old post and instantly re-banned. If you had broke another rule today AFTER being unbanned, now that would be a completely different story.

However, in the end the decision is ultimately up to n4n0, and like DJ said, he is the person to take this up with as he is the one who issued the infraction. I respect n4n0's decisions and his judgement, and so if he wants you to serve another temp than that is what you are going to have to do.

Let me lay this out for you real quick.

You are responsible for everything you post on sythe. Doesn't matter when it's found or when you posted it.

Doesn't matter if you just served a temp either. It wasn't for the same post, nor even an infraction from the same thread. It was something completely irrelevant to your previous ban.

Just because it took me (or any other mod, depending on who could have ended up finding it) 2 weeks after the post to find and infract it, doesn't excuse you from your spam.

You spammed. You were infracted. You've accumulated 7 infractions. That's a 5 day ban. I'll see you in 4 days.
