How do people find friends in the community? >.>

I was just wonderinggg how people make friends in this community, cause idk how but I want some being connected would help me out

 

Be social, participate in contests, donate a bit (for the spamming in the donator section ) and hang out in the IRC etc.

 

Just be social around the forums. Don't troll.
Regardless though it is all a web-based community and people will screw with you. [Trolls]

 

The IRC helps a bunch too.

 

Contact people who you think you like and chat with them, you never know

You've just got to be active and such, and find someone with the same interests as you.

There are tons of friendly helpful people on there and with time you'll make a few friends. You can also just post around the forums and perhaps PM a few people that respond to your posts

 

Making friends in the community is quite easy! The best way to meet people is to start posting. Get involved in the market if you'd like, or post in the Community and Off-Topic sections so you can get involved in discussions, contests, debates, or just plain fun threads. You can also join the IRC like many people have suggested, so you can chat with some people live

You will find that you start meeting people who you have things in common with fairly quickly. After that, it's just a matter of continuing to form a relationship with those people - exchanging PM's, adding each other to MSN etc, before you find you have a solid group of friends here. The best way is just simply just get involved with things going on around the site. Everything else will fall into place on it's own!

 

I'd say the IRC is the best way to make friends. Also being active on Sythe is pretty important. If you become a lurker like me then it's hard to meet new people.

 

Just being friendly, helping people out, having common interests with others.

 

Stay active, friendly, and possibly even donate.
Try not to troll.

 

Posting and replying to threads do help get yourself get noticed.
