    Bot Farm

im looking at starting a bot farm. i just got high speed unlimited internet and im not worried about power bills. wondering if someone can point me in the right direction of a bot farm.

Such as what type of bot works best (rsbot, scar etc)?
What sort of bot earns best income (wcing, fishing running planks or others)?
    requirements for the bots?
    how many bots is recommended?
any other general information would be appreciated.

    Simba ( SCAR )

Pros : No down time , loads of great scripters who can make pretty much flawless scripts, Smart crash manager ensures that ure scritps restart after 6 hours without u having to do anything, which isnt possible for reflection atm.

Cons : Uses more CPU usage than reflection, more harder scripts are hard/not possible to make, scripts are relatively more costly to buy.

    Reflection

Pros : More complex scritps can be made, less cpu usage, loads of scripters that could make good and flawless scripts for you, scripts not very costly.

Cons : Huge downtime, Bot nuke nearby, API/client not very stable atm

    Id say go with Simba(SCAR)

Sort of bot depends on how much u would like to spend. If you have enough money, you can easily get yourself a Simba scripter to help you make a seemingly flawless script.
For example : Red spider egg spawner isnt very hard to make, and requires only 10 summon. So you can easily get it on 5 accounts and get botting in no time.
To start off, get the script made and start with 5 accounts. Upgrade to more if youre successful.

The example I gave should not cost more than 20M i would say.

Simba in itself is not hard to set up. Usage is actually easier than reflection bots I would say.

Not many will help you with these questions.
It's a dog eat dog world.

If you bot you will help ruin the rs economy which hurts botters and legits alike.
You will also help lower gp prices.

You're supposed to be smart enough figure it out on your own and profit as best you can.

It's like you're asking WalMart how to open up a store... they have no reason to help you as you will be a direct competition towards them.

Such as what type of bot works best (rsbot, scar etc)? Simba
What sort of bot earns best income (wcing, fishing running planks or others)? Others
requirements for the bots? Depends on what you want to do
how many bots is recommended? Start with 5-10 on your own PC, upgrade to more bots and a VPS if it works out well.

I would go for Simba because it has been working extremely well for me for the past month. I've been botting my summoning tank 10-18 hours per day for the past month and I haven't had any troubles so far.

The hardest thing is making a good script, I personally make my scripts myself to make sure I won't get banned and to make sure they are as efficient as possible.

For buying scripts, there is a section available here on Sythe where you can buy scripts. You should think of ways that aren't common and get it made by someone.

Perhaps you could get a Grenwall script made for Simba, will be costly to make though :p

Not possible? How much do you actually know? I'm guessing the Smart crash manager just checks for an image of the end of session notification which isn't as reliable as Injection(not reflection, where's the reflection bot?) Which searches for an interface ID and when it's valid then it could easily restart the client, it just hasn't been implemented yet in the more popular Injection bots.

API not being stable? What on earth, the methods in again the injection not reflection bots which are the API are stable, it's only the hooks that keep on breaking I believe or the multiplier may be changing.

A bot farm with Simba? That would be one expensive bot farm with the amount of resources it would use. I'd suggest using a Java Bot as it doesn't need to use any other language as a wrapper. They are less resource intensive and easier to use on Linux OS which is cheaper for VPS's.

If you have to ask all of these questions, you shouldn't be starting a farm.

.... I have all the resources needed. A good computer, unlimited Internet, good knowledge of runescape ( look at my join date) and plenty of cash to put into it.

If you dot know what to do you have to ask the questions or how else would you find the answers? Or do you just know everything punkerpunk?

Instead of starting a bot farm immediately, why not take some time to explore different bots and scripts. Research and find the best one for yourself to bot with.

Start with 1 account first and record its profit/hr and CPU usage. With Math, calculate how many accounts can your current resource runs.

Start small first and build it up slowly.

Other than that, good luck and I recommend using Simba.

    Yeah, good knowledge.

If you don't know how scripts, bots and their methods work you shouldn't really be starting a bot farm.
What Punker wants to say (I believe) is that you will need alot more knowledge of this subject or your botform will break down very fast.

Bot farms are way harder than most people think, you've need to keep bots running, make accounts, transfer money, have a good computer or rent a VPS.

At this point beginning a bot farm isn't worth it unless you have a great knowledge of:
    - Runescape
    - Bots
    - Scripting

If you do plan to continue:
Use SIMBA, by far the best and safest option at the moment with Optimus upcoming.
