    I'm in awe right now, Adam Yauch (MCA), co founder of the The Beastie Boys has died of cancer. Beastie Boys were one of the few hip hop acts I loved and their early hardcore punk stuff was sweet too. The world has lost a legend and possibly one of the most groundbreaking groups in history (if they decide to continue it won't be the same). Spending the rest of the day listening to Beastie Boys in his honor

    Wow that really sucks. I haven't been this upset over a celebrity's death in a long time. They've never made anything bad. I have a feeling this will probably be the end of the Beastie Boys for the most part. At least they managed to put out one more album before he died.

    Ya, I made a thread about this a while ago on another thread. I'm just in shock right now... They were literally my favorite band... I just... I don't know... wow... I was waiting for him to get better so I could go see them on tour again... RIP.

    EDIT: Ya, I've been doing the same. Listening to Beastie Boys songs all day, nothing else. I don't think they will continue performing under the name of Beastie Boys, though. They wouldn't even tour until MCA completely beat his cancer. At least I hope they won't continue...
