Opinions?

What kind of main should I make it? Zerker? Rune pure? Barrows pure? maxed melee main? suggestions? Opinions?

 

Make it maxed, I like them accounts the best as you can do so much more stuff with them. Just work on each skill and get them to 99, its the best way to enjoy Runescape.

 

To be honest I was asking about the defence, I love PvM so I was wondering what defence level was good for the main bosses (corp, GWD, glacors, frosties).

 

If you love PvM you can't be a pure really besides a Barrows pure and I don't consider them pures in anyway. Preferably 80+ Defense for Gano now-a-days, you'll end up needing Curses. Bossing not maxed is just a way to waste a lot of money, and if you're doing corp, you'd be using a Zammy spear, gaining defense EXP anyways.

 

thats this thread's point, I want to start a main but i dont know how to.

 

turmoil zerkers are the most overpowered

 

Maxed melee mains are the best as you have the option to both pk and boss.
I personally am working towards a maxed main

I'd go for a rune pure if you want to be a pure. Sounds like you want to PvM though, so just get as high as possible really

 

Rune pures aren't worth it really, its just one more level for a zerker helmet which is a lot better. Go with a zerker.

 

I agree with this. Use Slayer to max out the combat entirely. Pure pPKing is much less exciting these days, but main PKing is just getting better and better. Also, like you said, PVM is a lot of fun, but the only way to do it is maxed in my opinion.
