The day has come... FPS/Lag fixed in Runescape!

Seems so far like this update has had a much bigger effect on Runescape lag / FPS than Bot Nuke. However, would be interesting to see if the Asian Bot Farmers were affected. They are the biggest and most impacting botters in RS.

 

yess!finally i can play without lagging all the time! and i hope it stays like this

 

My FPS went from 8-10 to 40-45... GREAT update.

 

This is great, I always use to lag when I played. But as RSPLEASENT said I wonder how it will impact on the gold farmers.

 

are you guys all bums? just buy a good pc..seriously..

 

FPS went from 10-20 to 40-50. When I put it on high detail the FPS is still bad though. (around 15-20)

 

well never really lagged before, but game does seem a lil smoother

 

Yeah I agree, its running so much faster then it ever did or that I remember it ever did. Went pking in Hd and experienced little to no lag at all. Best update of may already!

 

Finally, an amazing update. 50 FPS

Could've saved my friend $1k if he waited it out LOL

 

Of course I would be the only one here that is running at the same speed. Running min graphics on fixed screen and I'm getting 30 FPS at the GE on W117.

This was overdue. Glad to see Jagex finally came around to it however, I was under the impression they wouldn't bother.

 

Im getting 7-8 fps @ g.e, all min settings. I got Atom n570/1GB ddr 3, seems like its not enough for so shitty graphics - lol...

 

I hope that netbook isn't your only computer.

 

I hate that I can't bot because I don't know how to work Simba but it's good that theres less lag

 

Thank god.. I had been running on 12 fps for the longest time and am now getting 50.. thank you jagex.

 

Great update of the year but before this I use to get 30 - 55.

 

I've noticed a better game play, lag has reduced a fair bit. In populated worlds my fps would just plummet

 

are you guys all poor or something???????????? i get over 100 fps on rs

 

Too bad this update didn't really do anything for Mac users =|
At least not for me.

 

Hasnt affected me, Was on 50fps before the update and still am.
