Help

I've been exceptionally stressed lately with exams staring me right in the face. I don't have the time to see the girls and mates I usually do and I just need some good music to keep me going over the next couple of weeks.

If you could post some good stuff it will be much appreciated. Preferably acoustic but I don't really mind. I would post a list of music that I like but I pretty much adore all of it.

Metal is not welcome unless it's metal bands doing acoustic songs (Limp Bizkit - Behind Blue Eyes, Day to Remember - If it Means a Lot to You). I love this shit but I can never find it. Post what you have.

Bullshit is not welcome. Honestly this stuff is filth and you should not be listening to it. There is plenty of fantastic music being released these days that isn't shitty pop. Bullshit includes but is not limited to:
- 2010 onwards pop rappers; Lil Wayne, Flo Rida. God they're shit.
- Boybands. I actually think that the blokes from One Direction are pretty funny guys. Don't like the music they produce though.
- American Idol prodigies. Nuff said.
- Lady Gaga, Beyonce, Rihanna, Nikki Minaj......need I say more?
- ''Call Me Maybe''

I'm currently finishing my last day of finals today. (University of Alabama)

I have a study ritual that I started back in High School.
I would always listen to "State Radio" not sure if you would like them, a chill band, well most of there songs. There lyrics are easy to hear, but hard to understand.

My favorite song by them is -Right Me Up. I always start with this song while I study.

Others band i occasionally listen to while I study (If im not studying for a final) are Slightly Stoopid, Dispatch, and Rebelution.
Most of those bands are an acquired taste but they will relax you and allow you to just sit back, chill, and crack open that study guide.

Slightly Stoopid definitely if you are looking for that, Laid back lounge type of music.

Rebelution is actually sort of a Rap mixed with Reggae, but they pull it off way better than 311 ever did.

Dispatch is another band that the singer of State Radio sings for. So if you like his voice in State Radio you'll love it in Dispatch.
I'm sorry I do not know any Metal band songs that are acoustic, wish I could give more of an input on that part :\

Hey man, I just finished listening to ''Right Me Up'' which was absolutely fantastic. Just my style of music. Perfect mix of chill and upbeat. I have to hit the sack as I've had a big day but I'll listen to the rest of the recommended stuff tomorrow afternoon and get back to you. Any other stuff you (and any one else) have would be much appreciated! Thanks!
