The Cabin In The Woods.

I just recently got back from watching this with my girlfriend earlier today, and I thought it was on the list of the WORST HORROR films EVER made. The trailer made the movie look so good, but it was SUCH a let down.. Trust me, I'm not going to ruin the movie for you all but you wont expect what happens..

I would give it a rating of a 3/10 it was THAT bad.

 

Nah it wasn't really bad - I actually thought it was quite a twist and you would ***NEVER*** expect this ending from the trailers etc. I actually liked it - just don't expect a "horror movie".

 

I think it was good, I mean It's different from any other movie.. The trailers also make you think its gonna happen like this, but it ends up totally different. Go see it man.

 

They don't bill it as a horror movie, they billed it as a horror comedy if you read anything about it. Like Scary movies or the Scream movies. So you probably went in expecting something else.

 

I personally did not like it.. It could have been a GREAT scary movie.. But it was to predictable.. But the ending was a twist Ill admit that. Although it was kinda dumb..

 

Meh. The trailer's put it out to be the typical "teenagers go into the woods and scary shit happens in that abandoned cabin!" movie - soooooo glad it wasn't actually like that.

 

I mean yeah, but the movie takes a HUGE opposite turn! haha It was un expected no doubt.

 

I thought it was excellent. It is all about how you perceive the movie.

You could look at it as a horror movie, in which case it would be horrible.

Or you could look at it as it really is, a psychological thriller with some great story telling and a hint of comedy. They did a great job of "explaining" all other horror movies.

 

Yea, I really loved this movie was a great movie, I never really thought of it as a horror movie more of like thriller was not as horror as my friends said it was.
