Just tried to get on today:

If Virgin are doing it, most likely BT, TalkTalk, Sky and the other major ISPs will follow suite. There are obviously still very easy ways to get on to it *cough proxies/VPNs* but for a lot of people they will probably be forced to use alternative means to get on or use other less popular sites.

    Thoughts?

Well, i'm pretty shocked to be fair that they started to do this. I just kept thinking they was empty threats and it would never get round to being blocked, I wonder if they will block it on my ISP which is Sky.

I think it's wrong they're blocking TPB. Ah well, there's always proxies.

Its just virgin paying lip service to the courts. If you access and download things from pirate bay, then you will most likely know about the ways to bypass it.
