Official Optimus/Counter thread... Before it gets crazy

It really doesn't help when Jagex change the Randoms to affect colour bots either, like with the Beekeeping one :/

 

Basically random are useless at this point.

I got 24 farming and 18 hunter in f2p while you could choose p2p skills lol.

I still find a bot here and there stuck at grave digger.

 

Generally by the time the bot has completed the Random it's been 5-10 minutes. In that time, surely you could've made up the Junk/EXP you've received.

 

Which is why bots are intended for one player use only. If people wish to gold farm, they need to set it up better. But if its just one player botting with random alert. It shouldn't be bad at all

I seriously think its Optimus and runespan all in one update.

 

Maybe they plan on throwing in Captcha random events.

 

It's runespan.. Good enough. I thought Optimus, tomorrow i'll be botting my staker 24/7.

 

Nothing, again a false claim by jagex about a potential Optimus update.

Holy shit I never thought about this. That would be a pretty simple way to shut down most bots.. I hope Jagex doesn't think about using captchas!

Back in classic, there was a community thing for botters to solve captchas, it only pissed off normal player and botters.

 

I can't see them doing this again. It'd surely be a final straw with too many legitimate players. Mind you, seeing Jagex lately, I wouldn't put it past them...

 

i remember that thing that use to solve it for you, you could solve other peoples to gain "points" or something. was hard some of the ppl doing were bloody fast!

 

Ye, and we nearly recreated a irc client with that feature when jagex reopened rsc.


Also, although this update wasn't optimus, but doesn't mean it won't come soon.

 

Not overly savy on Optimus or bots in general so forgive my ignorance. Will optimus affect people's ability to use a good auto clicker to alch or just stay logged in somewhere while afking? Will this make auto clicking more detectable?
