well guys as most people have sense free trade ive been hacked and completely cleaned i really just dont find any point in living as rs had became my life i lost so many friends because of runescape i honestly have nothing to live for anymore or to show for my whole child hood like im honestly soo frusturated and upset dose anyone have any idea on how i can re put myself into society im also in grade 11 (3rd year of highschool) if that helps :/ thanks all you guys for all your help your always so helpful to me

 

There are thousands of things to live for, I lost a lot on runescape when I was just younger than your age and yea I was gutted at the time.. But all you have to do is wait and you'll forget about it.
When you learn to ride a bike, you fall over. Eventually you can ride without falling. Unless of course you want to learn tricks.

Think of your loss as you falling off your bike. You get better balance, in your instance you will now have better security for your account.
The tricks are real world trading, eventually you may get scammed (just like you may fall when doing tricks), it's a risk you have to be willing to take.

Ask all the big traders on Sythe, I guarantee they've lost a lot of cash in the past, but they learn and become stronger.
Life has its ups and downs, you've had a down so now just get on with life as normal and wait for an up

Like Shoop said above, there are thousands and thousands of things to live for. And although you may have a deep attachment to Runescape, in the grand scheme of things Runescape is just a game, and you WILL move on from it some day.

Try not to focus too much on what you have lost, but focus instead of what you have. Count your blessings, see the beauty in the world around you, and be thankful for the things you DO have. You will get over the loss eventually and find happiness again

Well, if you want to get into a group of people and you need help, just write down a list of interests and hobbies you have and try finding a person or group of people with the same interests as you. As said before, there are hundreds if not thousands of things to live for so just don't think about that. If you'd like to talk, just pm me buddy.

 

I don't play Runescape myself but just forget about it mate, move on and go out with a few friends from your school and have a good time. You will soon forget about the game and see the more better things in life, if you want to speak to me feel free to PM me.

 

As others have said, there are tons to live for.

I have lost a lot due to video games myself. I have like 1 friend. But, I finally found the girl of my life abour a year and a half ago and having that 1 person to be there with you is really all you need.

You can find other things that you enjoy in life and you can find yourself a girl if thats what would make you happy.

To be honest, if you can find happiness without friends, go for it.

Do not think that you NEED friends or that you NEED life that society makes you think you need.

you need whatever it is that YOU truly need.

make yourself happy.

Fuck society's pressures.

im actually not i dont see how its any of your concer but yeah and i enjoy playing runescape otherwise i wouldnt do it ... id rather be alone and happy and with people and depressed it just sucks when im alone and depressed and i cant be with people and happy

I know this sounds generic but the best thing do is to either stop or start limiting your time. There is absolutely no reason you should have to quit something you like/love. Just don't let it control you, when you let a game control your life it leads to addiction and you feel a NEED for it. Remind yourself its a game. One thing you should try to do is to not play it on weekends; instead hang out with friends, or just go do something else you love. Slowly but surely you will start to not feel the need to play it
