Thoughts on Black Ops 2?

What are you guy's thoughts on the upcoming game 'Black Ops 2' ..

Personally, I think it's gonna be bad.. as Black ops wasn't so great itself, I mean, the Multiplayer was 8/10, but There was so much Spawn Trapping, etc..., but maybe it will be good..

I didn't have a problem with Black Ops and I'm sure number 2 will be fine. I just wish they would take a break from modern day shooters (mw2, black ops, mw3) and give us a ww1/ww2 style shooter like World at War.

 

I've heard it's going to use the same engine as before, so we're not really expecting that much new content. To be honest, they don't need to change anything anyway, everyone's going to buy it.

 

Yea same.. I wish they would add like Aliens, and Sht.. Where you can be aliens and kill humans , etc ;o

 

Haha, I mean I really like Call Of Duty series, but if aliens were added, the whole franchise will go down under, just because the wars played in the Call of Duty franchise are those going on, or those fought before, with large twists on story lines and added creativity. If they added Aliens, they might as well start another franchise, not make it a continuation of Call of Duty.

But on the Black Ops 2 topic, I think it will be good, just so long as they make the snipers semi-decent. I mean, getting rid of quick scoping sure, but for the love of god don't completely change the usage of the snipers haha, or if you do use the same mechanics for them, at least give the players more variety on sniping positions.

 

True story, and Well.. They should atleast do something different, I mean.. It's getting old

 

This. I'd love to see another Pre 1950's game. I really enjoyed World at War, but playing it nowadays, well, I've played it too much and I'd like to see more updated graphics/gameplay.

 

I think it will be good. Black ops was awesome. I also enjoyed WAW , but I think they should do like an actual Modern War, and use like al Qaida.

 

Call of duty in general, is trash. They make it so repetetive, it's stupid. They should just make one final call of duty and be done with it and everyone can focus on one game. It's stupid to prestige all the way up in each one, then a few months later, you switch games. Only reason I keep buying them is because that's how I make money.

 

Infinity ward is all over this, they will never do anything like that. Their game is even called Modern Warfare LOL
Treyarch is always interested in doing past wars.




I for one definitely won't be purchasing this when it comes out.

Are there any trailers or anything for it out atm?

 

I reckon it will be good, I enjoyed black ops online because of the online wager matches, hopefully this will follow suit.

 

Not as of right now, but Tonight on the TNT Nba Playoff game, They will be showing a reveal trailer.

I also really enjoyed One In the chamber. Best Game Mode ever.

Looks awesome, I can't wait until they release some gameplay footage of multiplayer + zombies. ^_^

 

Let me just say one thing before everyone gets mad at me:

inb4 everyone buys it knowing that it hasn't changed much and then complains

 

After seeing the trailer I'm feeling slightly more hopeful, although, I've given up on expecting a decent CoD game nowadays so maybe this will change my mind.

 

I've had the same feeling, I thought it was going to be based off of BLOPS.. But let's find out this upcoming fall

 

I know the people that make MW are different but to me they are all the same. The campaigns are very theatrical and fun to play but they just lack something to me. That is not even talking about the horribly un-competitive multiplayer. I also believe the only reason it is future based is because of the new Ghost Recon game. Silly tbh. Just another bad game that everyone will buy because everyone is good at it...Pure genius to those that designed the multiplayer.

 

This is going to be the first Call of Duty aside from 1-3 that I will not be getting on the release date.

If people still enjoy it a few months after the release, then I'll think about buying it
