What to do with 2500USD?

Hey everyone.

I live in the middle east, specifically Jordan.

I've been thinking of using the money to start a virtual currency shop (mainly RSGP on forums like Sythe), but the problem with uploading funds to websites like Moneybookers is that they charge 2% for that, and another 1.5% when sending money to someone. Another problem is the percentage they charge because my original currency is not USD/EU (It's JOD - Jordanian Dinar).

There are so many small percentages that add up and eventually make it so that merchanting with any kind of virtual goods online is a waste of time for me (this is negating the offchance that I get scammed).

I was thinking of Forex, but I have no idea how currency exchange works, so i'm kind of at a loss here.

I'm not looking to double my money in a month, I want to flip that money into a steady ~100USD per month.

 

Have you tried putting it in a high interest savings account, i'm not sure how the banks work over there but i'm sure you could earn a nice profit if you keep it in the account.

 

100USD month dosen't sound so hard tbh.
Start buy and sell gp or upgrades or do skill services, even that should make u 100$/month.

Paypal and western union? those can be a good payment methods.

 

WU has high fees, and PayPal is #1 scammers choice.

 

You could just do a quest service and keep your money in the bank, this way you avoid paying fee's for money services.

Maybe not even online related? Stock markets?

Invest in gold and silver. Buy at 2 - 5% below current market price (~1700USD per ounce for gold or ~31USD per ounce for silver) then resell at market value. It is a very safe market because there is no chance of either crashing, and silver should really be on a skyrocket right now because the ratio is off.

 

I agree with Emperor_Nero on this one gold is not going down and silver should be going up soon.

 

Not sure what kind of interest rates, but the best interest rate I've seen in the US was 0.80% APR, which is $200 a year (Comes out to $16.66 a month), which is pretty much nothing, since he was $100/month.

 

Not much to invest in over in Jordan as far as I can tell. Find a promising services index and pump some money in that.

 

That's what I figured. I went to 3 banks today and all of them just want to drain your money out. There is no way a person can merchant with online goods where im from if he does not chip in 20k+ (and even then, the profit is average at best)

 

Yeah, $2500 is not much to make a good profit with (even $100 is asking for a bit). Unless you have a unique service you can provide, it may be difficult.

All I can think of is botting a staker account to desirable levels, buying GP, and staking for RS GP, which you can sell. All you need to make is 200M = around 10-15M/day. Which is not that hard at all.

I'm pretty sure if you're under the age of 18 I think, you can put it in a major investments account and once you're 21 you can access them again and have like 10-20x the value.

Again, thats what I think, assuming that the interest rates are like 3-5%/6 month period added to the value.

 

Uhh I think you're referring to a roth IRA. The plus side is that it's tax free but you unable to access it until age 59. You're allowed to put 5,000 in per year starting at 18 and you'll definitely be a millionaire by 59. A lot of people wished they started at 18. I'm not sure if there's something like this in Jordon, but consider it...

 

Big box retail stock is about to bottom out after Fathers day. That shit goes from like $50 around now to like $65 after christmas which is a 30% increase, if you invested all $2500 you would get 50 stocks which you could sell at 3250 around christmas which is $750 over 6 months which is about $125 a month per month you wait on it.

 

Buy gold bricks for 2k worth. And rest buy silver.
