99 messages

Hey guys, lately Jagex added this update in which every time someone gets a 99/120/maxed cape/completionist cape a message pops up.
I wanted to know your thoughts about it
P.S.: last week, when I got 99 magic, I got a LOAD of congratulation messages.

 

Haha, this has been going on for a while but yeah it's nice when people congratulate you

 

I know ;p I just wanted to say this, as I got my first 99 after that update and it seems to be nice already

 

Tons of other MMO's have this. Jagex is always late to the party. It's cool though.

I thought this was quite funny. I got 99 range and I had private on friends so one person went to the ranging guild and waited for me to come along to buy my new skill cape, just to say congratulations to me. Was quite nice ^^

I wonder how long they would have waited if I didn't bother to get the skill cape.

Jagex was a little late to the party with this update, but it's still a nice addition to the game.

 

My filter blocks these messages so I never see them

 

tbh i find them a nuissance -.-, seems like ppl are buying xp from SOF

What does that have to do with the messages?

 

It's a really nice addition, especially for those who achieve things and happen to have their chats set to on; I try to congratulate most I see.

It's funny and decent update. I always try to pm someone who gets a comp or maxed cape
Get a little annoying though when it floods your feed.

 

true that, I always Message them when I see the messages, but sometimes they flood the chat :/

 

I've been wondering if the message shows up in your world only or every world?

 

I think 99s show up on specific worlds but max/comp will show up on all? not completely sure
