What would you do?

So, i was looking around on youtube and i started to watch some clips from What Would you do? For those who doesn't know its a show on ABC dont know if its still on air, Its a show where they setup actors lets take as an example: The actors are 4 kids and a old person, The kids are suppose to call the old man names and they set cameras nearby so they can check how many people really would care if that happend, those who would just walk by and those who would tell the kids to get off and stuff like that. TO THE POINT,

The one i was watching was about 2 guys making out in public, From the beginning nothing happend, then after like a minute this lady called 911 and tried to get police officer down there to make them stop...? I myself aren't Homophobic at all. I think its aslong as 2 people are happy it doesnt matter if its the same sex or not.

What are you guys opinion's about this?

Would you actually do something?

 

Personally, it doesn't bother me if i'm around a gay person, in this situation it would discomfort me and i'd say " oh that's gay!" but really its something that just comes to my mind first. I don't care to much about it at all though, i guess society gets to me and it really shouldn't. But, i wouldn't do nothing at all I would just walk away and leave them be.

 

That woman was just ignorant, nothing more to say about it.

It wouldn't bother me, I've done the same anyway.

I think the lady went too far, i mean i'm not a fan of the gay populations, but everyone still gets the same human rights, just walk away and not make a scene

no seriously, two ppl of any gender making out in public is kind of taboo where I live. do that shit at home.

I personally wouldn't care, but isn't homosexuality still punishable by death in some countries? it was 5 years ago anyway. It might be a normal thing where she's from.

 

well the part with the guys was a setup to see people's reaction and then ask them like why they complained and stuff like that, Her calling was not a setup

 

That woman was out of line. I honestly don't think it's against any of her beliefs or anything, It wasn't hurting anyone. I'll be honest, If I had kids or something and I walked past him I'd try to get away, but only to save having to explain to my kids what's going on. (Considering they would've only seen kids movies with Same sex relationships and whatnot.)

But yeah, I'd let them be. I'm straight, but it's their choice.

Who is she to tell people what they can and can't be, if they are happy that is all that matters. I wouldn't do nothing if I saw it in the street, gay people are widely accepted in these times.

 

I personally think that she's stuck in the past. She obviously can't keep up with the times and perhaps back in her younger years same sex relationships weren't 'appreciated' but nowadays most people don't have a problem with it and she should realise that.

It doesn't effect me in any way, why should I do anything about it? I don't even know them to really care about them. Why waste my time? It's their choice, not mine.
