Onyx Ring (i) or Berserker Ring (i) You vote

Which do you prefer. what's you vote?

Well you've obviously never owned one because the berserker ring (i) does not provide any bonus to attack whatsoever. It gives you a +8 strength bonus and a +8 crush defence bonus.

The onyx ring (i) gives +6 in every attack style and +6 in every defence style.

I personally do not own either as I do not currently have 20 hours to invest in the mobilising armies minigame required to obtain one. Does anyone have a record of how long it took to obtain the 200k reward credits required?

 

I voted for the Berserker ring. Probably a little biased considering I never actually bought an Onyx Ring. But I enjoyed the Berserker for its strength bonus.

 

It takes 20 hours to get 300 rank, which is needed to be able to imbue a ring. You cannot imbue the ring if you're under 300 rank, assuming 200k reward credit is for one of the better rings. In the end you get around 2.5-3M reward credits if you invest as much as you can every time. So it's around 100k an hour I guess.

I went with berserker ring as atm I prefer strength bonus. But I really would rather have an Onyx Ring (i). Why? I corp and that gives the highest stab bonuses along with decent def bonuses.

I usually prefer attack bonuses over strength. Strength merely increases your max hit by 10-20 damage, depending on how much str bonus. But when PVPing, whether it be PKing or DA, I'd rather see a big hit rather than accurate ones.

Berserker ring (i) simple because of the str bonus and the fact i've never used an onyx ring.

 

They take just as long to get each other. The only difference is a few thousand in investment credits.

All you need is 300 Rank to get either ring, along with investment credits which you get more than enough if you invest enough and hit Rank 300. So you shouldn't base your choice on how long one another would take if they take the same time to acquire

I use onyx ring (i) all the time because I prefer attack bonuses over str bonus, in my opinion str bonus is overrated.

However the B Ring is hands down the best for pures. Pures don't have armor, or have little to no def, so accuracy isn't really needed. I'm more on the fence for zerkers.

 

I prefer a Berserker Ring (i) because I personally prefer hitting high above hitting more constant.

 

always been a fan of berserker ring (i) its helped me get the KO many times in pvp!

 

+8 strength bonus always beats +6 attack bonus, unless your target has ridiculous high defense and rounding errors favour towards the attack bonus. Which is pretty much never. Use berserker.

tbh, nethier imho are worth getting or using, the bonus is so minute it doesn't really help THAT much at all.

 

dragonstone ring (i) is +5 while onyx is +6, but onyx costs alot more so dragonstone is better.
