Runespan

Well the update is in a few hours, for those of you who do not know it is a Runecrafting "minigame" where you can train 1-99. During the minigame the higher your Runecrafting level the more exp you get. Apparently it will top any methods of Runecrafting experience. How do you think it will go?

In my opinion I hope it goes well, Runecrafting has needed an update for years now. The experience was terrible and the skill just defined the word "grind". Read the developers blog and it seems promising. Alot of hard work has been put into it. So let us wait and see.

It is not confirmed it IS runespan. They can also choose to release it on monday. It has been confirmed by several j-mods that it's an event, just like strange power with dungeoneering.

I love to see a new RC'ing method, the pics are promising. =D

 

Expect to pay well for it.

I am really hoping that this is at least mildly fun, so that I can get some good exp and possibly some nice rewards.

 

As long as the lag is fixed, as they've been promising...

 

People on simba are already developing the script before it is even out.. they have parts like identifying objects already done so they just have to script the rest of however you do it. I'll say a week before one's ready.

I'm guessing that it is going to be similar to the livid farm game, but I don't know. As for people getting the scripts ready, they don't hang around.

 

Not sure I guess it's going to be something like the ^ livid farm game. I've heard alot about that there is a few people is ready to script it hopefully it's something good.

 

I'm actually working on my rcing right now, hopefully this'll be a better way of xp/hr and runes/hr.

 

I'm hoping it provides faster Experience rates, through something a little more entertaining than running back and forth from the bank to an altar. I really don't like grinding away at skills through the same repetitive task. I know if this is the case though I'll have to sacrifice profit.

 

Runespan sounds like a Runescaped-based News program that will inevitably become boring as shit

 

Agree with you, hope it's either entertaining or it's a mini game with a lot of variations so it's always changing. That's why I enjoy slayer so much as it's not so repetitive.

 

In one way it's great because rc xp is appalling to say the least. However, saying that, this reminds me of that thread where someone was talking about how easy rs is now with SOF, effigies etc so this is just making the game easier..yet again..

i think the 2 weeks 99 rc thing is just a way of saying itll be faster, i highly doubt you will be able to get 99 rc in 2 weeks but if so then yay me

 

If you can get 99 rc in 2 weeks than the skill would ruined.

It would be just sad to all those who had 99 rc before the update... I will not want to have rc cape to be another cooking cape.
