High level 1 def pures are doomed?

it's sad how purrs aren't as good nowadays. maxed out pures aren't what they used to be, especially since soaking and turmoil came out. pure vs pure fights are pretty cool to see though, like maxed pures vs maxed pures

 

You would have no chance against someone with veng+ turmoil, they can dds spec through you in 2 hits i reckon, maybe get your def to 40 or so and get turmoil?
