A Reminder To Botters

Do not constantly sell for below the average price on the grande exchange. i've noticed nats dropping lately and pure essence rising, I realize this is supply and demand, but if your sitting on a 10m profit, you do not need the cash right away.

Protips for all botters.

1)Build up supplies, if you have enough supplies for two or three days, buy only at suggested or offer less.

2) You do not need that 6 million today. you're probably sitting on a cash stack of at least 20+ million. there's no need lower the cost of your product to sell it. almost everything will sell at suggested within 24 hours. im sure you can wait till next time you log on.

I'm running an entire farm of 15 bots and not 1 account has every been strapped for cash, each account started with less then 500k in supplies by the time they were leveled and quested. i have never needed to buy supplies at higher than suggested retail, nor have i ever sold my product at below the suggested retail. everything still sells. I know its been said before, but i feel it needs to be said again. i'm going from 800k/hr/bot to 500k/hr/bot and its only been a month. stop selling so low.

TL;DR: Your already causing prices to crash. stop rushing and you'll make more money in the long run.

 

As good as it would be for this to happen, It wont.

If there's a bot for a money making item, the prices with crash dramatically.

 

Honestly pleading isn't going to help. The injections are back so, unless optimus does something about them then the prices will continue to drop and I will be able to finally level again without having to pay an arm and a leg.

This thread is pointless. You can't just artificially keep the high prices by begging others to keep prices high.

 

It isn't just price its supply and demand. Also you can't except anybody to take you seriously when you run a 15 bot botfarm. You are contributing to the crashing price more than any body selling low

 

I'm hoping Optimus helps with this.

 

This is true, and there is nothing we can do just move on to a private method of gold farming if you don't want this to happen.

 

The issue is, there are more and more people entering Botting in a massive scale. As in running a Bot farm with 10-20 bots all mining clay or something of the sort. Seeing it's a source of income because they sell the GP they're making, they instantly sell so they can get there cash as fast as possible. Then, they whine when their method doesn't work anymore because the prices have dropped.

I wish we could make them stop, but it won't ever happen.

 

How do you guys really get your farms to run 24/7?

Jagex and their Optimus Prime will only rid of the injections *hopefully*. Botting itself is very helpful, but when you do it to farm gold, you can kiss my ass. These 7 year olds are just money hungry and can't enjoy a dying game. Hopefully Optimus Prime rids of the injections so Simba becomes the ultimate bot.

Price's will always fluctuate, you trying to prevent it won't do anything other then piss some people off, lol.
Just keep botting while you can and worry about yourself and take advantage of every profit you can make and stop worrying about other botters.

 

It has nothing to do with what you sell them at. You yourself said you know its supply and demand. I dont think you understand the concept of supply and demand then. What people are selling nats at has nothing to do with if the price drops or not. The price drops because there isnt enough of a demand for them and too much supply plain and simple. I could sell 2 billion nats at 1 gp each the only reason why the price would drop is because the supply 2 billion nats far exceeds the demand. Not because they are priced at 1gp.

People sell for less than med price because demand is lower than supply the price is just a coincidence. Even if you gathered every single person selling nats and told them to sell them at 1 mil per nat the nat price would continue to fall because no one would buy them. ITs a natural order of everything that is sold that is naturally balances itself out in price. So by natures falling its saying there are too many natures being made and sold and since too many nats are being made its natural the ess price would rise. So actually you dont understand the concept of supply and demand if you even made the thread

When the quota of certain item is filled, and there is still more supply, the prices will drop.
You can't do anything against it.

 

1- Buy out stock which noobs are dumping
2- Wait for optimus
3- Prices raise (because of the lack of stock)
4- Sell your goodies
5- Profit

 

Lol I always sell things low and buy for high, it really is supply and demand. I don't use money making bots because I like making my money legit.

Also Optimus (Bot Nuke #2) will not get rid of botters, yes it will take down bots for like 5-6 months but bots will come right back.

 

He said it for me. Pray and stuff are too expensive without botters selling for low.

 

Most people use Virtual Private Servers or Dedicated servers. Which means they're able to leave their bots going all day and night without fear of a huge electricity bill or chewing up all their bandwidth. You can find some really good servers, and some really good scripts and bots which last a while, and only need to be checked a few times a day.
