Recovering Accounts doesn't work anymore?

I tried recovering my old account because the password was changed and I have all the details, even the IP. Everytime I try to recover an account it says:

Unknown

We didn’t recognise that Tracking ID and email / username combination. Don’t worry! This may simply be because you’ve entered some information incorrectly. Try carefully entering the information again. If it still doesn’t work, wait a few minutes and try again.

They don't even let me recover my email anymore.. Jagex made the process a lot harder...
They have the complicated Track ID system again instead of the simple Email recovery.. How do I get my acc back.

Someone help please, I've tried 3 times to recover it but everytime, I just get the Unknown Error and no answer from Jagex. What can I do?

 

The process has gotten alot harder than what it used to be, but it's still possible. I just recovered an old account of mine from around 2006 and it worked, you just need to provide accurate info that only you would know such as first password, first payment info, etc.

 

Yes I did this. I provided first payment from 2007, earliest passwords, they even asked me previous recovery questions that aren't set right now.

This is my 3rd time trying to get it back and the 2nd time I tried to recover, it shows up as an account Lock Recovery instead of Regular recovery.

New Update: You cannot recover accounts by e-mail anymore. The old Tracking ID system has been implemented again. Thanks fagex.

 

Much better it has.. Hopefully now account recoverer's will stop hacking peoples emails and stalking every bit of information out of them just to recover some pixels..

 

Just keep trying. If it's definitely your account it may just take a couple of tries to get it. It's a lot harder to get it back these days because people try to scam accounts that way.

 

If it's your account and your the only IP, it should definitely get recovered soon. Just keep trying, maybe change the info up a little bit or add extra information at the end like if you moved house etc, maybe try recovering it using a different email.

 

You can't even recover it by email anymore Libbie. It doesn't give you the option to type your email. It sucks that I have to wait so long. I keep getting the same Unknown error couldn't find tracking ID but when I try to submit another recovery it says:

You have already sent us an appeal for this account

You may not submit another appeal for this account until your current one has been answered by our Customer Support team. If you are appealing for a lost or stolen password, this should not be long - please check back in an hour or two. And since my account got locked for trying to recover it so much, i'm guessing I have to wait 3 days -.- 3 Days of the weekend I could have spent skilling

 

oh sorry I had no idea you couldn't anymore
and yeah I guess you will just have to wait before the first recovery goes through, and if it is denied just resubmit a new one maybe changing some info and adding more info into the space at the bottom
