Cheap car insurance providers uk

I'm basically just wondering if there's any car insurance providers that tend to be cheaper for 17 year olds. I do work and I passed my test about 3 weeks ago and not drove since.
Any help is appreciated!

 

I heard Direct Line are pretty cheap, I am doing my test soon and I am 18.

 

I though you had to be 18 to go with direct line?
I'm probably wrong though

 

Cheapest if you want a quote under £1000

is co-op young drivers insurance. google it for more info they fit some box in your car and you cant break speed limits they monitor absolutely everything.

Another cheap way is to get multi car insurance with your family/extended family the more cars on one policy the cheaper my freind only pays around £1500.


Another way to get cheap insurance is having your car insured in a safer location I personally made a saving of £400 from changing my location to my aunties which is less than 5 miles away.

 

I'm with Churchill, I think its really good, when comparing, I got the cheapest quote.

 

Just go onto a price comparison site like Confused, I got a decent quote with them.

 

I think RAC may be around the cheapest at the moment. Otherwise Co op is normally a good bet.
