Driving test g1

hey guys im going to write my g1 next month im just wondering what i should study or the main things you need to know

 

What exactly is a G1? I'm from Australia so all I can assume is you're from a different country with a different system.

These practice tests helped me get mine. The G1 test is pretty easy and common sense except for a few tough questions like how far you park away from something, how many demerit points you get for doing something wrong, etc etc. I'm pretty sure the difficulty of the G2 test varies from city to city and the more rural cities usually are much easier.

For everyone who doesn't know what a G1 is, it's the first step in getting your drivers license in Ontario (maybe all of canada, not sure). The test for the G1 is written and passing it allows you to drive in the presence of someone who's had their full license for a certain amount of years.

 

Make sure you know distance to stop behind streetcars, distance parked from fire hydrants, speeds in urban/rural areas if not indicated, and that you need to use low beams in fog and turn into the skid.

For the signs, make sure you know the orange triangle with the red means slow moving vehicle(Who would have known?), and other than that it's very easy.

Sounds a lot like Australia, where you need to pass a 45 question, multiple choice test to be permitted to get your Learners License and drive with someone with their full license.

Considering the rules in Canada and Australia seem quite similar (At least to a few sources I've looked at) it would surely mostly be common sense questions, but a couple where you need to know exact speeds permitted to go or distances between cars, etc. For my Australian test I just did the Practise quiz a lot of times and I learnt all the answers from that.

Also, the RTA (Roads and Traffic Authorization) had a book for me. I'm not sure what you have in Canada, but I'm sure the guys who run the roads there and get you to take the test would have some sort of information for you.
