Question About Simba

Sorry if this is stated somewhere else already. Do you need SMART to run simba? Or is it possible to just bypass it? B/c I cant find the files your supposed to extract after you download smart.

im a noob with this stuff sorry

Not all scripts use smart, but a majority of them do.

There shouldn't be much you have to do in the way of extracting stuff though, you may not be doing the installation right.

 

ya, just delete the part where it says smart initialize at the top or whatever...and theres a button you can use to select what window you want

 

If you follow the Simba install guide, you should have SMART.

You can remove smart support from ANY script and just have it work on the client in your web browser, but if you do that then you will no longer have control of your mouse/keyboard and can only run one at a time.

Ask any questions about Simba at the SRL forums and you will get better/faster help.

 

this worked--i got the program to begin running, But the mouse was fooling around on its own near the top of my browser page. some questions

i had runescape running on a web page, and clicked the script to begin. what did i do wrong?

You need to specify the window. Click the target icon and then click the OPEN RUNESCAPE window (so have it open and running in a browser.)

 

^ To reiterate what he said, click and DRAG the green cross-hair icon onto the runescape window, and then release it.

Then press the play button on Simba.

But like I said, SMART is a lot more convenient because you can just minimize it and let it run, I'd try following the install guide again, it's not hard to get it.

Agh man..i did the drag and drop and hit play, just wont do anything. the box below says

"SRL Compiled in 0 msec"

but thats it. idk how you guys get this so easily. I must be really dumb.

gonna try to re install smart...there has to be a way to get this to work.

Add me mate - Its a very simple process, I think you may be doing something wrong.

Well I think you have installed it wrongly.

Just delete your current one and re-install the client. It should solve the problem.
