Rs people with real names...

Okay.. I don't get this, how do "Justin", "Justine" "Julie" and "Tina" just get these names? and why mostly "girls" I doubt Tina and Julie are females...

But how do they manage to get names like that?!?!?!? and why most of the time female names?

Tina is also general in a JMOD's fc and has a epic name... there must be some JMOD Ass-licking behind it? btw.. just a question

 

Accounts from 2001 I guess.. And sometimes you can find epic names here n sythe check the name section..

 

Over time, inactive names have been freed up for people to take. They probably waited it out and took them as they became available, or bought them from someone who did.

 

I'm sure the "Ass-licking" helped, to be honest. Like Pockets said, they periodically clear up old, unused names. Probably when "Tina" was being released the JMod told their personal friend, who then got it before the official release.

It's also possible that "Tina" and other accounts are the actual, personal account of the JMods. If you read many of the FAQ sessions, most JMods have their own personal accounts. It would be pretty easy for these JMods to get whatever name they want, provided it already fit the criteria of being re-released.

 

I've often wondered this myself. I always thought that those people probably have very old accounts and snatched up the names when they weren't really that sought after, and then over time they gained recognition & respect for their name and their actions in game, and that is how they end up getting ranks in Mod's FC's or getting player mod.

Not too sure tbh, but I've definitely noticed big names like "Julie", "Jake" etc. having high status ingame.

 

This is probably it, I personally think Tina got her name just by talking to her "friend" but who knows I heard she also bought the name "21" so she's not the angel her Jmod friends think she is. hehe but ya, probably some of them just got lucky but I think some "Ass-licking" is behind Tina, as she's really close to a Jmod. Kinda sad really..

 

A buddy of mine had Scott... not that uncommon

 

They just wait for them to come up, or buy them.

 

Just old accounts from a long time ago

 

.... Scott would be a really rare name, the only scott in game. People would def pay alot for it. nerfed

 

there are a lot of ways to get them. one of my friends is friends with jmods on facebook because they ass kiss in the friends chat and they leak the dates for name releases so they can get them. or like said above it could be the jmods second account. mod chrisso has a decent account name lol

 

Yeah hehe, jmods have probably helped A LOT by helping their friends getting released names before everyone else >.< ("else" ftw btw, sick name! )

Tina is a player mod also... sad... general in a jmod cc, and got a sick name.. hmmmmmm

 

Yeah I wouldn't be too surprised if some low level corruption such as this occurs. It would be hard as to snipe a name such as this I'd imagine.

 

I got a 3 letter name about 3 months ago.

 

I dont own my rl name on rs but I own other peoples names lol, 3 of them. My rl name is owned by some faggot scrub.

Btw Jagex realsed a lot of rl names in their clearing back in 2010-2011. Of course a handful of people scooped them all up. BUT OFCOUSE you have jagex cocksuckers like Jake who get their names personally from Jagex.

 

I have my real life name as RSN Most of the times people have just gotten lucky with getting their real life name. I think that just a small part of the names has been bought here.
