who is the best fighter of all time?

Including everyone from all eras and all styles. from boxing to judo. who do you think is outright the best?

IMO I think its Bruce Lee. his speed is greater than anyone today and just his whole philosophy on fighting is something everyone can learn from

Bruce Lee, his power and speed both combined was phenomenal.

His was 1 inch punch is out of this world, I read somewhere the guy who took the punch was still hurt the next day. Imagine what Bruce Lee could do if he used all his strength, and with his speed it's probably impossible to dodge.

I really wish there was a Bruce Lee if his century right now, I'd love to see someone similar to him perform in the UFC and rip through all the fighters.

I love Lee, but I want my answer to be someone who is still kickin it.

 

I just tried that push up. I didn't even apply my whole weight yet onto those fingers. My left hand was holding onto something, it basically carried most of my weight. It felt if I'd have let go of what helped me stay up, my left hand, then my fingers would have snapped. Fingers still hurt after I attempted.

This. I'd like to see someone I haven't heard of before, that holds similar speed and strength of what Bruce Lee had.

 

Of all time it would easily be Bruce Lee.

But as of now it would be GSP, although I find his fights boring, I have to admit that you cant do anything to stop him from taking you to the ground and making sure your stay there.

Nah seriously, I agree it's gotta be Bruce Lee, and I'm sure if you made a poll the result would be unanimously in his favour. I can remember my dad showing me him fighting years ago, he just seemed like a machine, he moved so fast the other fighter generally didn't have much of a chance.

Muhammad Ali is a worthy mention, though.

Silva and Shamrock were pretty boss, but not near the best. There is no best. There are to many out there and for all we know, the best fighter may be one meditating in a cave in China.
