Who else listens to Country?

Just curious as to who loves country music on sythe.

 

Not me, I listen to alternative-metal music. I used to like some old rascal flats and a little taylor swift now and then if someone else is listening to it.

I'm into all genres as long as the song is "good". Taylor Swift is great as well.

this thread hurts my fucking brain.. 90% of what people are talking about isnt even country its POP. (taylor swift, rascall flatts ect).. no wonder everyone talks shit about the genre they dont know what is . That said im a HUGE country fan.. mainly texas mainstays like Guy Clark , Townes Van Zandt and Billy Joe Shaver.. they can be a little on the folkier side but DEF still country.. great poets. Now i listen to some of the lower brow drinking/outlaw type country like David Allan Coe and Gary Stewart and have even been getting down on modern "alt" country like Cross Canadian Ragweed or James McMurtry. To anyone with any mind for good lyrics and can appreciate GOOD country i highly reccomend any of the artist i have mentioned, you wont regret it. I saw james aldean pretty recently ^^ same with James Mcmurtry.. come to think of it i saw bill joe shaver too.

 

I'm not a really big fan of country music; I don't have my iphone loaded up with then, but all I know is that when I'm on a road trip, the first thing I look for is the genre.

My family used to travel a lot when we lived back in the states and whenever we turned on the radio, country music was always on.
Now, it's a nostalgic genre for me
But only when I'm on the road.

There are tons of bands with folk/country influences.

I don't mind a little Johnny Cash or Keith Urban once and awhile.

 

I can only stand about 15 country songs
