Grave, you told me to ban "King Tijn" so I banned that account. After seeing this complaint I found out there was an extra "2", my b.

Sorry for the misunderstanding. I was just a little upset because I thought you just ignored me afterward and didn't give a shit. Thanks for the clarification.

 

n4n0 - Fucking excellent job dealing with all the hacked members recently, I know it took it's toll on you but you did a bloody amazing job.

FireZ - Amazing job dealing with all the scam reports against hacked members aswell as assuring the community that everything is in order.

 

n4n0- as Kenpen said, especially good job in dealing with all the hacked msns.

Zerkerfist - Well deserved to be on the staffing team. You're settling in well already, and your work hasn't gone unnoticed, nice job

Flyingtoast- Nice to see you back doing work in the Report a Spammer section, keep it up man.

 

Pk Frenzyy + Zerkerfist - You've both been fantastic so far since your dual promotions, I've seen you both locking threads in the RS section before I can report them and you have been going through a few ban evader reports and have done many of my and other spam reports for the RS section. I see you've also begun to make a start on scammer reports which is impressive for new moderators in their first few days. From what I can see there are two types of new mods, there's the ones who prefer to dive head first into everything and get started right away, and there's those who prefer to take things slow and learn everything as you go along. It honestly doesn't matter which path you take, the important thing is that you learn how everything works. I also like your UI's that you've both had made. All I can say for you both is keep doing what you're doing, and always remember the other staff are always there to help you out if you need assistance with anything.

Blupig - Seems to be the only Global that hangs around in the RS section, it's nice to see you managing it as well as the rest of the forum.

CSkiffingt1 - Corey, regardless of what's happened in the last week or so, I'll still vouch that you'll make a great admin someday. I haven't lost any respect for you or anything, plus it's great to see you helping PK settle into her new moderator position.

Giddy - Your moderating activity has shot up in the last few weeks in terms of scammer reports and such, it's always nice to see a Giddy post.

Karl - Thanks for doing some of my spam reports earlier, it's always nice to see you helping out in them. Also well done for putting up the "change your password" notices in the IRC.

n4n0 - Ryan, you've been working almost non-stop in the past few days since all this account hackings have started up, you've been on almost 24/7 dealing with Sythe accounts who may have been compromised and keeping the site updated in 'News & Announcements' section with Verts letting everyone know on updates to the situation. My only advice to you? As soon as all this mess is sorted, get some rest, you deserve it.

FireZ - Always dropping the hammer and is by far the most active administrator on here (along with Verts), it's always nice to see you hammering away at scam reports and ban evaders. You also have great music taste ^_^.

Govind - Like Corey, I haven't lost any respect for you at all for what's happened recently, I haven't seen you post much but I imagine you've been helping Matthew and Richard with the site and ensuring it's safety given recent events. I hope this mess gets sorted out soon.

Matthew - From what I've heard you've been ensure the DB is extra safe and have been keeping an eye on the whole situation. It's also nice to see you still take the time to give out donor ranks and approve UIs for people.

Nick - I think you're a great administrator and a very understanding person, only you don't seem to post as much as you used to. However this is probably due to you managing your new RSGP site which from the looks of it is coming along nicely. It'd be nice to see you post around a bit more though.

Verts - It's great to see you helping with n4n0 in the Announcements section on keeping everyone updated on the situation. It was also great to see you first instantly notify everyone on changing their passwords as soon as something seemed wrong. You also always read/respond to my PMs faster than any other staff member I've seen, you always fix any problems I notice and it's interesting to see what you reply in them.

I'd also like to say thanks to the rest of the staff for helping each other out with recent events that have happened and of course managing the site.

n4n0 - This guy is someone who MUST deserve credit for handling all the account hacking's that have occurred recently, so well done for that, you've kept us up to date through out the course. I've also noticed your on quite a lot, again, well done.

I think sometimes you get angry and post a bit too hard comments but nobody is perfect.

 

FireZ - You're really active, and I appreciate the fact that you spend so much time digging into things. However, I often feel you Deny people the opportunity of a pardon, without hearing other staff members opinion. I feel that the whole pardon system is based around you, because I believe you have the power to deny anything you want. I think you should let the other staff have their opinions first.

 

I disagee with Freakyhair. I feel the pardon system is too vulnerable to ignorant mods granting pardons to whomever they feel sorry for. It's easy to spin a sob story, and it's actually easy to lie in a pardon and get away with it. FireZ has the entire ban database memorized, it seems, and I'm frankly glad when he steps in and says "No" to someone who certainly doesn't deserve it.

People always forget, the banned member was banned for a reason. Unless you are a ban evader yourself, I don't see how you can empathize with their situation at all. He fucked up, so he lost the right to be here. I'm glad that FireZ has the brains to memorize every single ban he's ever issued and know when a pardon clearly isn't warranted.

 

For the record, not many people who lie in their pardons get past voting, and those who do, its near impossible to know they lied. I think the pardon system is fine, please remember that the people you see supporting it are only supporting a vote.

In regards to FireZ's frequent use of his veto, I think he does just fine, and I've yet to disagree with any of his decisions to veto a pardon.

 

I believe that when FireZ decides to veto, its for a good reason. I see no problem with how he currently runs things. The only thing I would suggest is to be more descriptive when vetoing someone so that someone (such as freakyhair) doesn't get confused when reading the pardon. For example instead of just saying "Veto" you could say "Vetoed for lying about past evading". So in other words, FireZ knows what he is doing.

Thanks to all the mods who helped and handled all the hacking over the past week. Most notably n4n0 and FireZ, but all mods had participation, so once again, great job, and thanks. Keep up the great work.

n4n0 - Great job dealing with the whole hacking situation. You really went out of your way to make sure everybody was safe.

 

n4n0 - I was hacked several days before, and N4N0 provided timely help to ban my account and protect my customers from being scammed. and helped me to be unbanned.

He is absolutely the best people who can deal with these account hacking things. Its a great job! A+++
