What month do Party Hats rise?

I've had my Yellow for awhile now like maybe a month or so, paid around 1048m for it, not looking on selling it yet, even though it's dropped quite alot, it's being sold for just under 1030 atm, anyone with alot of Hat experience, think they will rise in the long run, or should I sell it and add cash and buy a White? But that's pretty much all I would have if I decided on buying a White, But I'm quitting for awhile anyways so I basically want a long term investment, I'm not going to panic and sell it purely because of a little decrease in price.

But yeah I was looking at the Grand Exchange charts, and all the Party Hats was mad high in Novemeber times, Please don't comment if you're just going to put random information, I'm actually looking for good advise with people who merch successfully in this sort of criteria.

Alright guess thing is though I'm not on alot anymore lol, need sort of a rough estimation even though no one can predict the future obviously lol.

 

Really depends the demand of the item so it can happen anytime

 

But like overtime it can't really decrease drastically as no more of them enter the game, obviously more money comes into the economy though all the time.

Some time iin augest Reason: people start playing alott during the break(July) they earn a lot of money and indulge themselves. This happens to everry single item not just the yelloww phat.

Well I've usually seen ppl quit during school year and play during summer... so they'll buy phats for the 'break' since it can only go up and sell when back... so drop in summer, rise in fall

 

Really depends, it could we a lot or just a little bit. You never know, it could even go up after the bot nuke or something or decrease.

 

Everytime the schools are on holiday or around christmas time.

 

Holiday periods or periods of time where player volume increases will also impact prices. You'll also need to take into consideration the amount of Gp coming into the game. With bots running riot over Christmas and just prior, Gp was coming into the game like never before, causing the price of rarer items to rise. The price of rates is usually proportional to the Gp price as well. If Gp falls (usd/m), then rare prices 'usually' increase.

I'm no expert, these are just my observations.

This has very little to do with holidays or number of people playing. All that matters is the RWT price of GP. GP falls = rares rise. GP rises = rares fall.

no the opposite and hats are dropping and will continue when bots are eliminated EXCEPT for blue from what I have seen

rares become far more valuable when gp gets flooded in game because the gp is not worth its dollar equivalent anymore. To make it easy to understand, say you have in your inventory 2billion cash and a Red Partyhat. Lets just assume 2billion is the current price of the partyhat. 2 billion in itself is a lot but is it rare? No. GP is being flooded into the economy meaning more and more people can acquire that 2 billion amount through botting or whatsoever. This drives the price of the partyhat way up because there are more wealthy players and a higher demand for the partyhat because of this increased wealth. Also there is a fixed amount of partyhats while there is gp being created every single second.

Now take the mass bannings and the elimination of bots (specifically gp farmers) and you'll find that not only is less gp coming into the economy but there is even loss because mule accounts with billions are being banned. Bots are not around to create huge supply and inject a ton of money into the economy. There isn't as much of a demand for party hats because its harder to acquire wealth without bots.

the only exception I've seen is the blue party hat. People will keep "buying" up until they get a blue partyhat and just sit on it. when I say buying up I mean trading 'insert color' partyhat + cash for the next higher partyhat. This is done until one achieves a blue p hat and they just sit on it. Its the most sought after item in the game.

they will always raise probably, thats how rares work. The older they get the more they cost.

 

With the bot nuke coming up, the rares are and will continue to crash. Yellow is selling for in the 980s atm...and will keep going down with the anticipation of the bot nuke. Of course, rares will continue to rise because they're discontinued...but for the next few months, my prediction is they will drop quite a bit, but will stabilize and start to go up.
