Low ping world, watch videos untill you are better at switching (I'm aussie and have no problem switching in any server, Jad gives you quite a bit of time to switch). Or just get someone to do a free jad for you, most firecapers offer that

As well as doing the suggested above, just check your ping to make sure it isn't really crap.

You can check it here: http://www.pingtest.net/

It might not be your ping. Do you have audio turned on while fighting jad? If not turn it on it really helps alot, the sounds a faster the the emotes.

You can use RuneScape for foreign countries, so just use one of them servers. They usually have less people on = less lag. Just make sure you know what each potion/item is as it won't be in English.

Turn all settings to minimum and you can use sound that'll give you a quicker warning of what he'll hit with.

I know what you mean man, but so far I haven't been able to find a good solution to the problem.

Jad always lags for me during movement, and whenever I switch prayers a few seconds in advance, there appears to be a "delay" in the prayer being activated, and the game registering the effect of the prayer and making it active. Whenever I watch videos on YT, it seems guys are able to flip on a prayer and its activated almost instantly.

Its weird for me because I don't usually experience a ton of lag in the game anymore, but Jad seems to be one spot where the lag is consistent. Maybe I just suck :(

Must be your internet connection. Server lag shouldn't be that bad.

As I said if your 85 def use gano and just pray range :p that way you'll only need to brew for the mostly absorbed mage hits

It's better if you're PING is nearest to 100. I'd advise going to 80-120.

No, you don't suck. This always happens to me.
It's not me who is switching prayers too late, it's just the game activating their effect too late.
I died ~5 times at Jad on my zerker. You can see that in my Progress Log :p
