    anyone have experience quitting weed?

I've been smoking for about 5 years, starting out with the occasional joint which evolved into daily use. However, I've never felt that I was dependant on it. I've managed to quit for a couple of weeks multiple times, mostly when I had to prepare for my exams or when going on holidays. Somehow I don't have to take steps, I just go into solace when studying, or I can't get my hands on them when on holidays. In neither instances have I experienced the sudden breaks as "hard".

Also, I've recently quit for a couple of months because I was honestly through with being stoned for the mostpart of the day, for which I had abandonned my IRL 'friends' as I knew it'd be impossible when they'd be smoking.

At my all time high, right before I decided I needed changes, I had been smoking at least 4-5 joints a day (usually with 2 or 3 people though). Before, I usually only bought about 10 grams a week myself. As stated, cutting of the people you smoke with, aswell as believing you need changes would be all you need to quit. After 7 days or so, I started feeling way better about myself, my confidence rose and started going out more, so I would definitely suggest you give it a shot.

Just don't smoke...I've quit weed before and honestly...If you WANT to quit, then you will...It is not physically addictive and is very easy to quit...

Also, I highly doubt that the weed caused your memory loss, studies have shown that weed does not cause memory loss...

If you inhaled the smoke and held it, etc...That is what caused it...The lack of oxygen...

The reason I first quit smoking weed was because it would give me panic attacks, but I stopped smoking cigarettes (much harder, but did that cold turkey too) and my panic attacks stopped so I started smoking weed again..
