Computer Help!

I used to have an asus laptop that I thought quit working years ago but I plugged it in and it started working! ..... but there are some problems


Here is the laptop info: Asus gaming series(not to good with computers btw)
has windows vista home premium on it


The problem is, I cant log onto it, the password on it that Im 99% sure worked but it wont, I try and get onto safemode but it just goes to the regular log in screen. I dont know what the problem is, I will do a complete rewipe if necassary but its really bugging me not being able to get on it

 

Format, reinstall.

 

I dont have any of the disks for it, how do i wipe it clean and start over with out requiring anything?

 

If you're able to burn a disc, there are several utilities that you can create a boot disc that will let you clear the password for logging in.

Ophcrack works like a charm, burn the ISO image and then boot from the disk and it will get everything for ya.
