    Diesel auto

    My favorite era of cars has to be the ones made in the 1980s, Bmw e30 and Mercedes w123 chaise. What I like most about them is the simplicity and ease to work on them with semi modern power. I've owned a BMW e30 for a few months before selling it to pay for school, and I really enjoyed it a lot.

    This summer I plan to purchases a Mercedes w123 240d, to learn how to work on diesel motors. Most of my friends who are also engineer majors/ car-people agree that the w123 240d is a good simple diesel car. However most people don't know the benefits of a diesel, They see that the price is a little higher/same as premium gasoline, therefore more expensive to operate. keep in mind this is America. What do yall know about diesel cars and why aren't you driving one.

    I don't know what you want to know really.. I drive a diesel VW Jetta, and though diesel is $4.30/gal, I get about 45 miles to the gallon.
