cracked my laptop screen

ive just dropped my apple g4 laptop can the screen be fixed??

 

yes but for the price of it to be fixed you're usually best off buying a brand new one.

 

Yeah, Check ebay for a replacement screen and then google some installation instructions.. Or see if it has a warranty and send it out.

 

Look on eBay for a new one, then look online on how to replace it.

Just look for replacements, there's no point to buy an entirely new computer if your's is working just fine.

 

It'll cost you 100-300$ max if you decide to repair it which I think you should.

i contact a guy on facebook a local computer fixer he has a spare screen and will supply and fit for £30

he cant fix it ive found a guide

Yeah, Why not. Better to try first than to dish out more cash on apples overvalued stuff. You could also look around your area for another computer repair shop.

 

Well when I did that to a different laptop, I just took the screen off and plugged a flatscreen monitor in,

 

Call apple support and ask about prices, although £30 sounds like a good deal
