So in update: K/D is +1,500, achieved over 2,000 halo gamerscore, brigadier grade 3 rank. Taking FOREVER to get general, have around 700,000 credits, and can replicate Carter, and Kat's armor.

Out of this whole thread I only got 2 adds, and never even played with them

 

I just bought Reach a couple days ago. I haven't played Halo in 4 years since the 3rd one. I've always been pretty good at Halo, but I'm still warming up. Reach is a bit different. There also doesn't seem to be many maps. I've only played 3 so far.

Hey yeah I got your add, just didn't accept since I didn't know who you were. I'll add you and play on Thursday, my live just expired today so I'll have more on that day. There is much more than 3 maps, it's just that they usually only allow you to vote for the more popular maps after they did a survey.

 

Out of live, dunno when I'll get more.

 

I have a question. Have you purchased any of the map packs? If so, do you get to play them often or do the same ones get voted on? I don't want to spend the money if I'm never going to be able to play them. Reach is a great game and all. I enjoyed the campaign a lot and live is fun too, but I'm just so tired of playing the same handful of maps over and over again. 75% of the time I get Asylum. Then Reflection, Zealot and Sword Base occasionally. I usually prefer larger maps and so far I've only played Spire twice. I've even heard there is a version of Blood Gulch, which is my favorite Halo map ever and I would love to play it. I've played at least 50 games now and haven't gotten any other maps. I'm not going to be able to handle much more of this, so I'm debating on either buying a map pack or 2 or just selling the game and wait on Halo 4.

 

There's a game mode "Squad DLC" I think you play on the map pack there, also when you play regular slayer games it'll pop up too. Big team battle deals in larger maps, and there's plenty of other maps. Off the top of my head there's: Affinity, Treasury, Renova, Boardwalk, Countdown, Select, these are for team slayer maps. Hemmoridge, Trident, Asphalt, The Spire, are some BTB maps. Keep reach, if you're on today we can play

 

I finally got to play a few more. Most of those don't sound familiar though. I do play mostly Swat, so it's usually either Asylum or Reflection. Are the map packs worth buying? Which one is good if you have any? And sorry for sucking so bad that one game today. I've been distracted with something all day today. I'm not usually that bad. I should have a mic soon too. I just bought another Xbox and haven't gotten around to getting a new one. You're pretty damn good by the way. Grade 4 General is the highest right?

 

It's okay man, I've played with people who only get 1 kill and aren't split screeners (I don't know how they did). Swat does have terrible map choices, in terms of variety. I can't really give you an opinion on whether to buy the map pack or not, if you get bored with the maps and willing to disk out some cash go for it. General grade 4 used to be the highest rank back in the day, now it's inheritor (you probably haven't seen any because halo pair up people with similar skill levels/rank). my main GT is Fredecus, I was technically a pro H3 player even though we were almost last in every pro match... I played reach for like 2 weeks and hated it but I guess I could pick it back up again.
