Charging back against playerauctions

I saw this thread somewhere else but it wasn't what I was looking for.

I bought an account from a guy off PA. A week later, the account was recovered and I was out my money.. can I chargeback against PA and win? What happens? How can I get my money back?

They will not give your money back unless you purchased insurance.

If you have not purchased insurance I do not think they will take any actions.

Also - I would not attempt to chargeback against playerauctions as they have been known to file lawsuits.

 

It was only $50. Would they do a lawsuit for that?

And they said they would contact the seller.. What good would that do?

I am not sure if they would file a lawsuit for the $50.00 but for sure they would ban your account and perma-ban your IP address.

If it is $50.00 it is just my opinion but keep trying to contact the seller and just harass their live chat/emails until something happens - not worth charging back, losing the ability to use PA and have a possible lawsuit files against you.

 

Well for starters I can change my ip by unplugging and plugging back in my router (I've done it uhh 10 times now to get back to 4chan after posting stuff :embar: ).. So I won't get banned as I can just create new account.. however I don't think they'd sue me for $50 would they?

 

Just keep contacting the live chat, mention that you will not do anymore sales with PA due to them not providing a safe and secure account, don't chargeback them as it will cause hassle for you.

 

#1 if you chargeback PA you wont win
#2 you cant get your money back unless you purchased insurance with the account

#3 purchasing accounts off PA is terrible since you dont get all the original info
