Coin jars, do you have one?

I've got one that i put all my coins in, I go to the pub probably 2 times a week, and in 2 years, Its made me around $750 each time I've emptied it.. bought a Psvita with this years one

 

I do However, I don't stop at 20p's. I'm not sure how much I have in mine at the moment.

 

I do, I've a large one for coppers, gets emptied rarely. I also have one for silvers and the occasional pound coins; Usually fits about £50 in.

 

I used to save all my 5€ paper moneys lol, one time I had 21 of them, so it's 105€

 

I have a family guy mug! Few Euros, Dollars, Pounds in.. Its my taxi fare bank!

 

I got a buffalo with a rubber cap at the bottom to purge the coinage from its insides. Haven't really used it since I stopped caring about finding spare change all over the place as a kid.

 

Well, all the cool kids do...

 

I have one as well. Usually I go to the bank to empty it, get a slip and deposit the petty cash. Its average $70 a month so around $800 - $900 per year of extra cash.

 

I once cashed out on a 100 dollar coin jar with my girlfriend at the time. Later learned she went on a date with some other guy using it.
We were going to break up soon anyway for other reasons.. but huge fail there.

 

I used to just have a red box for it, but now I just spend any change I get or leave it lying around.

 

The last time I had coin jars, I ended up saving like $100 or something (mainly collecting loose change anywhere I saw it [13 years of collection L0L])

 

There used to be a forest that I'd walk through to get to the edge of a golf course, separated by a small creek. I'd take jugs like those and just totally fill them with golf balls that I sold. Good memories

 

I had one with about $5 in quarters saved up, but that's about it.

 

Hell yeah! I've had a coin jar in my room for years now. It doesn't have that much money in it anymore right now... its mostly just filled with pennies. When I used to go out clubbing almost every night and my bills would turn into huge piles of change, I actually had hundreds of dollars in toonies and loonies in the jar and even a few bills, but I eventually figured out how much cash I had sitting in there and depleted the whole jar.

Now that pennies are no longer being made, I am going to save my huge stash forever for the nostalgiac value

 

I got one, it's a small easter island head cup, i made in elementary school. takes me sometime to fill it up, and it's usually like $25 in change, with a few foreign coins.

 

Saves me heaps of times, as I just put my spare change in it and eventually I make bank when i realise it's full.

 

Mind you when the battery on those things dies, you get back to $0.00

As for me, I don't have one per se, but I always have some cash with me school supplies and plenty of it is coins

 

yes!!!! but mine has hundreds of dollars in it. i've been saving for a while!

 

I have a panda coin jar, but it's usually pretty empty x3
