    Amount traded trustworthiness?

What amount of RSGP would the buyer/seller have to have traded before you deem them "trustworthy".

IF a buyer had 100B+ succesfull buy/sell trades I would deem them trustworthy.

I base trust more on other factors besides vouches. For example people like me don't use the market much, but that doesn't mean we're not trustworthy.

I look at a variety of things including how active they are on sythe, what is their personality like, have I talked to them on the IRC, and I do look at their vouches. However someone like Sillymonkey, who isn't necessarily an active market person, I would trust with more than I care to admit, lol. You just have to look at everything overall, and that is how you will get the best idea of whether or not someone can be deemed trustworthy.

I do not use the market, I use the community side more. I also tend to go on what is their personality like also and if they are a nice person. I only have 1 vouch so I wouldn't see people trusting me.

100B is alot of money, but I suppose if they have the many trades, they are most likely trusted.

That is a point. You have to look at it as a whole, and not just on one thing. Thankyou for the replies :)

    Amount traded trustworthiness?

For most people, I look at who's vouched them and what they said about them, the amount isn't that important. However, someone who I'd consider to be clearly "trustworthy" (to varying degrees) would have hundreds of dollars worth of trades or at least 75 vouches.

Ok, so similar to the "standard" amount.

That seems alot lower than everyone else has said, but it does show that you don't need to have traded vast amounts.

    Amount traded trustworthiness?

I would look at vouches more/how well I've known the person than amount traded.

That's a bit less than the usual, but it shows different peoples views.

So your not basing it on vouches/amount traded, but how well you know the person?

So would that mean that if you knew the person for a while, and they had ~20 vouches equating to ~$100, you would consider them trusted?

    Amount traded trustworthiness?

The amount traded should be around 20-50B+. I would also look at the vouches if he sold 500M more then 10 times to 10 diffrent people then I would trust him on 500M.

    Amount traded trustworthiness?

Well, I would look for vouches in addition to all the other factors to judge his legitimacy.

If it's amount traded, I would trust 50b upwards.

    Amount traded trustworthiness?

Amount traded would depend on what market they are in/etc.

I'd also take a look at their character, and quality/quantity of vouches.

All in all I'd say it would vary for me.

    Amount traded trustworthiness?

Trade based on the following at the following percentages:

    Vouches: 90%
Check each high value vouch by pressing the arrow by it for legitimacy. If it's an April 2012 member, with 5 posts, I would throw it out the door.

Check whether the user you are trading went first or second. If they went first, I would once again discard the vouch.

If you want to play safe, only trust that user with 75-100% of his highest consistent vouch values.

Join Date and Post Count: 5%
An ideal post count would be 3000+
An ideal join date would be 2 years
I would not bother trading with any 2012 members unless very significant trust is shown

Donation Value and other Ranks: n%

It would be safe to trust a user with about 75% of his donation value if
he has already carried out a couple trades and has vouches. You be the judge of this. This does not apply to paypal purchases. Sometimes someone will donate a huge amount then charge back multiple trades. This is a Case to Case basis.

Other ranks: Disregard fun Ranks. "Administrator", "OMM", "Global Moderator", and "Highly Trusted" show significant signs of trust. Any other Moderator symbol shows some trust, but I wold still be as safe as usual if you don't know them. Personally I would trust every mod on the team (who frequents the market) right now with at least a couple hundred.

Get to Know the User: 5%

Check his posts before a big trade. Do you feel like he is a genuinely good guy? Watch out though. Most psychopaths are charming.

Good luck with your trading and definitely watch out for Paypal!!
