Friends List Gone Random?!!?

So i logged into RS today and i noticed that my friends list was completely different with tons of people i didnt know, i asked my friend and it is the same for him, with some of the people being on both our friends lists, has this happened to you? We dont know any of them

EDIT: Seems like Jagex have posted on Runescape.com on the front page..

 

Its just server maintenance. Jagex posted a note about it on the front page. If you are currently logged into the game and your FL is still whacky, just simply log out completely and then log back in to the game and it should be fixed

Just to make this thread interesting: What was everybody's alternative name? (You could check this by logging into your Friends Chat and it would display your new name beside "Owner.")

Lol!!! It happened the same to me, there were like random guys on my friend list I have never met before

 

I think it just made your friends appear to you as if they had other names. Like I said above, if you went into your Friends Chat you could check your alternative name as it appeared to other people. Where your name would normally be, there was an alternative name for alot of people, and that is what their friends saw on their list.

One of my best mates names was "Ihaveaids69" :laugh:

Really weird.. didn't happen to me!

 

Didn't happen to me which is weird, a lot of people seem to be complaining about this issue.

 

It didn't happend to people with orginal display name.
