Real money scam question

So a couple of days ago I scammed a kid telling him that I would give him my wow account information as soon as he sent me the money as a gift through paypal. so he did. and i never gave him the account information. Then he said that he would call the authorities for fraud. Is there anything that the police could do for him since he was buying a virtual good?

Don't tell me that this is wrong or that i shouldn't do this. Comments like this won't change my mind. Just answer my question.
