How to prove to paypal that you have sold an item

I recently sold some RSGP using an OMM via paypal. Which was fine until today I found out that the buyer has phoned paypal to say that the transaction was made without his consent. I will post a scam report in the relevant forum at a later date but I want to know is there any way of proving to paypal that I have sent the goods to the seller?

No stupid comments like "you shouldn't sell using paypal to untrusted sources" that doesn't help.

Well since you used an OMM. You can always contact him and ask him to help you, I mean it's his job.

 

but surely he can't really do anything? he didn't know the guy was a scammer just like I didn't.

 

Did the paypal address have a verified address that you shipped to? Do you have a copy the shipping label that you used?

That would be the main evidence that they are looking for.

Wrong section, probably belongs in the help and guide section. If you sold RSGP, you'll lose the case, you can't prove you have the item being purchased.

 

I'm pretty sure there's no way, and it being unverified is even worse... OMM means nothing IMO when messing with paypal with someone untrusted...

I don't think there's anything you can do honestly.
I believe that the OMM has nothing to do after the trade has been successfully made. I don't think they hold responsibility for chargebacks/disputes.

 

Looks like he's claiming it was unauthorized use of his account, so whether you delivered the goods or not is pretty irrelevant unless you have a way to prove to paypal that the person you were dealing with was in fact the paypal account owner.
