    Runescape Name Sales

Sellers should HAVE to make the names that they are selling READY FOR TRANSFER.

It's retarded for them to say, "selling XXXX on a fresh lvl 3- not ready for transfer." That's like selling me a main with recoveries and saying that I have to wait to change them myself... where the buyer sits in limbo with all the responsibility on him/her.

I think this would prevent 95% of the scams that happen in the Name Sales section and would make purchasing display names 100x easier and more efficient.

    Any support?

No support from me. You can't force people to make their names ready for transfer, just like you can't force people to remove their recovery questions from their accounts. However, you can obviously suggest it, as it increases the price in both examples.

I have no idea where you get the part about the preventing of 95% of the scams though. When selling a ready for transfer name you have some huge risks such as name snipers, it's incredible easy to snipe a name and there are people running name sniping scripts 24/7 to snipe a name they want.

That's not all, the buyer could claim that the name got sniped, when he actually got it himself. T V should post on this topic considering he eventually stopped selling ready for transfer names after those were getting sniped. Not 100% sure about that part though, but he is probably the guy with the most experience at Name Sales that isn't banned..

no support, i think if they want to sell a name they shouldn't have to wait forever, they can start getting bids and if they get one they want they can sell it, if anything they can just wait until the name is ready after they place their bet down.

absolutely no support and stupid suggestion. Why continue to pay for membership when there is a chance that you will find no buyers in months? There will always be scammers and this is not a solution to get rid of them.
