It's an effective way of killing high riskers, especially when tbing. So yes it's worth it!

 

I have the spell and I can tell you its worth it. Killing glacors is easy using the spell and its great for pking, completely ownage. Get it, it is definitely worth it.

 

It's really worth it if you going to use it in Pvp.
It dosen't really take 'months' 270 qp can take up to 2 weeks.

 

I did 204qp - 280 in 2 weeks. Not too bad. It was well worth it.

Storm is by far the most fun spell to use in game.

 

Probably the only thing I enjoy in runescape now.

 

Believe me, it's worth it.
It can take you some time to achieve this, but the reward is awesome.
Imagine this: TB a dharoker, entangle him and rape him with your SoA which hits 400's easily ;P
Or think about this boots drop.
It's really worth it

 

In short... Yes it is really worth it. It tears in pking and in the fight kiln and I assume in other areas although I only use it for the fight kiln.
Takes a while but you need those quests anyways if you wish to get a comp/quest cape which should be everyones ultimate goal.
So yes it is worth it, plus the quest gives 150k exp reward.
