STR pure guide with good money making F2P

I have read a lot of guides of how to make a str pure and i don’t like any of them.

Let’s start with a fact that you are NOT a str pure with a def higher than 1!!!
Let’s continue with a fact that a good pure has a PRAYER of 31.

And here is the proof of that prayer is useful. (Hits with rune scimitar, pot , ammy and ultimate strength prayer in example 1):
Example 1 with prayer: Att: 40, Str:90, HP: 78, Pray 31. Maxed combat level 65, max hit 241.
Example 2 without prayer: Att:40, Str:95, HP:87, Pray:1. Maxed combat level 65, max hit 229.

But im just saying that prayer IS USEFUL, but you do it your own way ofc .

Let’s start with the guide.

Att/str 1-20: Kill the chickens in lumbridge and pick up the feathers, it will make you some good money.
Sell the feathers in G.E and buy a mithril scimitar and a str amulet. Now buy the armour. The best armour in F2P you can get with a def lvl of 1 is iron full with kite shield, leather boots, leather gloves, and a cape (with ranged 40 you can even get better but let’s assume that you’ll not train ranged).

Att/Str 20-40: Kill men, just north of Edgeville bank, Monks in the monastery west of edgeville (no food needed because the monks will heal you when you talk to them), or the barbarians in the barbarian village (there is a fishing spot with unlimited trouts&salmons cuz the fishers drop them, + there is also a spawn point for meat in the biggest house in the village).

When reached att 40, you’ll not train you attack anymore.

Go now to the G.E and buy a rune scimmy, and food (Tuna or better).

THIS IS THE FINAL STEP ( YES, REALLY)

North of the barbarian village is a trapdoor. Go down and go to the second room on the west side. Pull back the poster and proceed to the cockroach drones. THIS IS THE PLACE WHERE YOU’LL TRAIN THE REST OF YOUR STR IN.
Cockroaches have good drops (uncut gems, Coal (notes of 2), limpwurt roots, red spider eggs, and runes)
They have also a low def lvl witch make it easy for you to hit them and good HP for their lvl (110HP).
They have a maximum hit of 20 so it’s not a problem either because you have a lot of good food with you.

I had a program that showed me my xp / hour and this is the second best place with defence 1 to gain xp in F2P (it’s never crowded). The only place that gives better xp, is in the Al Kharid mining area, killing lvl 14 scorpions but the scorpions hit accurate and it means that more food is used, and they do not drop anything. So it's 50-50 wich one is better (Scorpions giving 15-25k xp/hour).

Killing cockroach drones gives you about 15-20k xp/hour (without taking the drops), and about 10-15k xp/hour taking the drops. You can train here up to 2 hours with 1 inventory full of food.
This place gives you from 30-100k worth of drops every time from the moment you start til the moment you are out of food. And another good thing here is that there are a bank close to the trapdoor (Edgeville).
I have trained my pure (att 40 str 81 def 1 prayer 31 hp 70 combat 60) in this place and I have got over 3 million gp in this place !!!

Remember that this is only my opinion of training the pure, BUT REMEMBER THE PRAYER FACT IN THE BEGINNING OF THIS GUIDE.

EDIT: I forgot to mention about the Dwarfs in Drwarven mine. They are as good as the scorpions and their drops are nothing compared to the roaches.
And i'm not english so i'm sorry for my spelling misstakes.

 

Good guide. But for those people who are looking to train to liek 9 0str i highly suggest dunging for a facite rapier (w/45 attack), geting members for 1 month and just no lifeing rock crabs/bandits. F2P pking is much better becasue there are no rushers or anyhting, but the training for pures is just wayyyy to slow

This guide is quite usefull for people who are F2P and want to make some money also, Limpwurt roots are around 1,500-2k each at the moment and this would be quite good Xp/Cash Hour for F2P Players.

However, I'm a pure and 31 strength doesn't always help you in battle. What i'm suggesting is that 45 prayer would be usefull in many ways. For example; You're fighting in the wild, Run out of food and you're running away. You have no teleport, no food. You could pray melee/range/mage to reduce the damage that the opponent is dealing.

For attacking bonuses prayer is also very useful, Eg. The mystic might prayer gives +15% magic bonus and this is really usefull for PVP.

Not a bad guide. Dunno if I'd consider getting my pure 31 pray tho.

Pretty nice guide, quick and to the point. Not exactly information that not many people know about, but for people like me who are terrible when it comes to making Pures it could be pretty handy, not to mention it means I wouldn't have to calculate the Combat level, etc.
