If you have the same user and password on there as on RS, then it is possible.

You would have an indicator on your screen showing you were downloading something. And then you would have to run it.

    Don't be paranoid.

Unless you have the same password on the site that you have on RS like Laptop said, then you should be fine.

Just to be safe, you should just play Runescape only through the RS client or through Swiftkit, and that way you will NEVER have to enter your Runescape username and password on any website, and it almost completely eliminates your chance of being phished. I would never log in via an internet browser because I play in the client, and so even if I was to be tricked, I wouldn't enter my information anyways ;)

No You should be safe. And no they can NOT recover you're account just by the username and 1 old password. They need alot more information to even be able to recover it. So you're safe don't worry.

They can't phish you without you entering your runescape username and password. Also don't install and download any programs from the site if you are worried.

No, they can't obtain access to your RuneScape account just by visiting the site. You would have to give permission for anything to be download, don't worry mate, you're safe as long as you didn't use the same password/username as your Runescape account.

As bloodymager said, if you ran a java applet you could have potentially gotten a RAT (Remote Access Trojan).

I own the site mentioned in this thread, and I just want to assure you that you have nothing to worry about from my site. I'm just a botter who's tired of bouncing from site to site to get the current bot info I want, so I put it all in one place.

There is nothing to download at my site, anywhere. I post links to download the bots, but they are simply links to the bot makers sites. There are no direct downloads on my site.

So, to Easter, no worries, you're welcome back anytime.
