All the people rwting.. The sole owner of Jagex really doesn't need to be rwting..


I'd be more interested in making the game better/harder.

For instance I defeated nomad yesterday.. Used about 5 sara brews -.- no difficulty..

I'd be introducing quests that're almost impossible, and I'd be tweaking overpowered weapons so that Pking is far more enjoyable without the worry of being ko'd in .2 of a second if you're on the wrong prayer.

 

I'd have some fun with the maps and questing. I'd add quite a lot more quests and like, double the current map. Yes, it might be more intensive on cpu's and cost more to run, but I'll just assume I bought Runescape because I was already overly rich. >.>

As others have said, listening to the community (after doubling the map, of course) and giving them updates they want would be primary.

Also, I've always thought of the idea of seasonal bosses (sort of like Hati/Skoll) to be a pretty neat idea. Meaning, certain bosses/areas (and therefore, their rewards) would only be accessible during certain times of the year. Which I think would keep more interest in the game and give people something to look forward to/plan ahead for other than just the usual grinding of skills/high level bosses for profit and fame.

Holy crap, I'd freaking listen to the players and give them what they wanted and make this game 100x better than it is now.

 

make a new skill like engineering, like level 25 make spring shoes +5% walking speed

Start updating from there again

 

1) goodbye sof

2) beat the hell out of Mod Mark Gerhard or w/e the faggot CEOs name is.

3) try hard to get the Gower brothers to come back, and to restore the game they created to how it should still be, not this failed PR money making shit.

4) make jagex more open to public opinion, not focusing on how to improve without polls or other communication.

5) balance the combat system, (range and mage form of turmoil), no more meleescape.

6) put in a decent tutorial system, return of tutorial island.

Basically, Id do everything jagex isn't doing now.

Jagex can suck my dick....sick of the soulgazers without hex drops.

On topic: I would attempt to buy back full shares from investors and return the game to being owned by people who care about it, fix the combat triangle, add an instant ban feature for any account created with a suggested name and obvious bot stats, and finally hire a decent team of community mods.

If I owned runescape, I would be selling GP beside the membership on the homepage. Would make them tons of profits.

 

I'd add uber hard bosses, that will take hours to kill even with large teams, it would be quite cool to be honest.

Raise all skill caps to 120, which will allow me to add alot more cool content and bosses

Make mage and range as powerful as they should be (no more melee>mage>range bullshit)

Get rid of SoF

give more shit to free players. I mean everyone starts off as a level 3 free player, right? we need some more f2p content to get people attracted to the free game to get more members.

Listen to the actual players, rather than the pmods (most of whom are suck-up faggots.)

choose mods properly, and demote all the mods who just suck up to jagex's dick for a crown.

And much more, i could go on for hours.

 

Rework the whole sever and invest money into updating fps issues.

I would have a day where everyone can use any items/armour they want and everything is free. And then the items would be taken away day after.
