If you owned Runescape...

I would take all RWT'rs cash piles and sell them back to them on Sythe without letting them know .

 

I would start developing a version that is not web based, cut down the number of servers on the website and make web based playing f2p/p2p. Members can download the game from the website (lets call it rs3) but the price of membership would be bumped up to 10-12$. The downloaded game plays similar to WOW but is not WOW..it keeps the feel of runescape.

I like the idea of a couple of 2006 servers, and of course, all of the shitty updates will be gone. More bosses, skills, and quests would be released and tied in together more smoothly.

I would also introduce the runescape lottery. 1k a ticket and a limit of 5 tickets per player.

 

Most of the people say that they would make it "better".
I know for sure you guys would do the same like everyone else.

OWNING the game means that you have to make it better. Of course I would have a Maxed account with 2 of every item banked, but its millions of dollars in rl, so you have to make it better for the players so more want to play and become members, so you can profit. I think the difference right now between f2p and p2p is genius because you get to do cool fun things without paying but there are even cooler things with p2p.

SOF is very lame to me. It is a bad update and my lottery will fit in perfectly =p. It is a cheesy attempt to make people pay more money when if they less but more useful updates they could make more money off of memberships.

The ability to purchase XP at any rate or cost from a game is insane to me.

I did not mind it at first but now its like "why?". It is unneeded and does not help the game in any way.

Get rid of new graphic update, take away SoF, bring back bh target system, no more cheap over powered armor like gano...and 50 other more changes.

 

Probably start a gold shop myself. and clamp down hard on bots to increase revenue myself

 

remove the SoF, make certain weapons less powerful in wildy, e.g. korasi/claws/ags, fix pjing, fix that lag issue, implement a community based player rep system like reddit or xbox has.

 

Well, to be honest with you all, I would just want to earn money and the spin the wheel crap seems like it is raking in the money for Jagex, so I'd do that.

 

Basically do what they do already, although allow more p2p bots as membership is good money.

 

-Update the game one skill at a time.
-Not make everything a total grindfest just to get levels (Livid farm is nearly a good example, providing spells and wishes.)
-Update various parts of the combat triangle to make it even (No more meleers with black dhide without a negative effect.)

 

Not do any more stupid updated obviously.. actually listen to the people for a change.
