Android IS an operating system.

 

For me I have Android, I love the android platform as I make my own roms and I am a developer on XDA, but I would want an iPhone more. It's weird.

 

Android, a lot more durable and anything has longer batter life than apple products

 

Apple, I much prefer the iPad to any android tablet. I had a Samsung galaxy tab but sold it because it didn't fit my needs.
However Android clearly win in the phone department. There is so many different ones to choose from that at least one will fit your needs, while apple just has the iPhone. Now I have an iPhone 4 and comparing this to the Samsung galaxy S2, Android wins. However I'll vote Apple

 

Android > iPhone EXCEPT

iPhone jailbroken > Android

if you're willing to risk and jailbreak your iphone its hands down winner

 

Android is better, much better!

 

I own the iPhone 4s 64gb, so the memory card is not an issue. Android is hacking for the better experienced and the iPhone is just an easy one click step. OS only has an iPhone, Android has a whole list of phones so it's complicated.

iOS. I do like the sandboxing and I don't really mind the OS being 'limited'. After all, I use my cellphone to make calls, send texts, listen to music, rarely browse the web and take pictures every once in a while. It also seems to run smoother comparing to my dad's ICS on Nexus, however, I might be biased. I remember going through Symbian customizing and modding; I must've grown out of that ;p.

 

This exactly.. I jailbroke my iphone and its so freakin sick..

I had Android but I didn't really like it that much

 

I've only really used an Android, although, I have had some use of IOS. So my opinion is pretty biased when I say I like Android more. You appear to have more freedom, then on legitimate IOS (non-jail broken)
