Firstly, Why does I_DONT_BOT's pardon look not too good when all he did was 'threaten' to DDoS, i'm guessing he probably can't even DDoS, you'll be surprised how many kids on the internet are like 'h0mg bro you dogged me, i'm gonna boot u offline".

Secondly, BGSPSeller scammed 470M correct? Okay. Why the fuck is allowed back on the site, how do you give something like that a second chance?

And BSGP was pardoned as the upper staff believe he is trustworthy enough to come back. He has already arranged to pay the two people he scammed back and I'm sure he'll on to be a successful trader.

 

So if i scammed 2000$ and then decided, it was stupid and said 'i'm arranging to pay them back, i've learnt from my mistakes, i'll lick your asshole clean for a week please, gimmie my account back" i'll get unbanned? without a TWC aswell?

 

Not at all, it would be up to the staff to decide if the user is trustworthy enough to be allowed to return to the site with or without a TWC.

 

Let's hope the staff made the right decision. As for me i don't support the unbanning of anyone who has been banned. Be it I_DONT_BOT or BGSPSeller. I'm out.

He does have a point here but this isnt really the right place for discussions concerning bans.

 

First off, let me say that Jack and I are very good friends. I know he's trustworthy and I guess you do too but that's not our call to make.

Second, I wasn't let back completely clean. I'm currently banned from one of the forums, as well as on some tight leashes. Jack and I were in two completely different situations. If you have specific questions feel free to PM me and I'll do my best to explain what happened with me.

You do realize the entire high pardon system is done by a case-by-case basis? If someone fishy posted a high pardon about scamming $2000 in the past, I'm sure he'd be denied. BGSPSeller is different, he is proven to be more trustworthy (i.e. OMM application, handled various amounts of money, etc.), and is a good community asset. Even then, there were some restrictions placed on him, it's not always just a "free slate" kind of thing. You can't just assume anyone will be pardoned without hesitation, that's why the high pardon system is rigorous and isn't handled out nonchalantly.

Now, in IDB's pardon, no staff brought up the "trust factor" as an issue. That's not the only thing high pardons are based upon. He was denied because of not learning from his previous pardon. Also, many of the staff encouraged him to post a new pardon in six months so he can learn from his previous mistakes.

 

I was one of the stupid cunts that voted. Take a 5 day ban for acting like a jackass. Smile.
